Hi, welcome to my page. I’m a political science PhD candidate, instructor, and teaching assistant at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In fall 2026, I will join Denison University as an Assistant Professor.
I study how immigration policy affects public opinion, political behavior, and identity formation in the United States using quantitative methods.
My research has been published in Politics, Groups, and Identities. I have received funding support from the American Political Science Association Centennial Center, the Global Latinidades Center, and the UC Santa Barbara Graduate Division Central Fellowship.
Informed by two large, original surveys and conjoint experiments I fielded in 2025 and 2026, my current work addresses immigration and perceptions of fairness in state-level policy design.
